Matthew Robaszkiewicz
Education and Experience
Matthew became a member of the NFCYM staff in 2006, having arrived from Austin, Texas, where he was the diocesan director for the Office of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry. Prior to his years in Texas, he was the diocesan director of youth ministry for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, a middle school teacher, parish DRE, youth minister, and soccer coach. Prior to entering ministry full-time, he worked for Marriott Hotels and Resorts. Matthew has led mission trips to Appalachia, Jamaica, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Mexico.
Matthew holds a BA in hotel, restaurant, and institutional management from Mercyhurst College and a master of arts, cum laude, in moral and systematic theology from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida, and is currently looking forward to pursuing a doctorate of ministry degree.
Personal
Matthew is currently president of the Mercyhurst College National Alumni Association, a member of the Mercyhurst College Board of Trustees, and the president of his condominium association board of directors.
Matthew enjoys rowing with a DC area rowing club in his spare time.
