“GM Live” Catholic youth ministry workshops were sponsored by five test-site dioceses this fall. Response was very encouraging in Newark, Madison, Dallas, San Antonio and Los Angeles. Plans are under way for new workshops in 2007.
Group is wrapping up research on a Catholic work camp format for 2007. Group Workcamps has been sponsoring camps for almost 30 years and has been discussing how to adapt the camp to provide a "Catholic focus".
Group thanks the dioceses who responded on the I-Net to the invitation to review Group's new youth ministry resources and consider how they can be used in Catholic parishes and schools. More than 25 dioceses requested review copies and will offer feedback.
