The TEC Conference—as the guiding organization of the Teens Encounter Christ movement—continues to provide a network of prayer, communication and support for the sixty-five TEC faith communities throughout North America and Europe. TEC helps eight thousand young people each year deepen their relationship with Christ and discern their vocation within the Catholic Church.

Recent projects and events include:

  • holding six workshops in five different dioceses to provide continued faith formation for TEC leaders
  • preparing for the third annual TEC Congress: “A Prayer of Wheat,” to be held August 1-3 at the Spiritual Life Center in Wichita
  • responding to international requests to start TEC including Kenya, Russia, Nicaragua, and Bolivia
  • beginning the translation of the TEC Conference Manual into Spanish
  • welcoming Thomas Simon of Festus, Missouri, as a part-time office
    assistant
