Connections

The National Association of Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders celebrated its third anniversary on December 2 with more than six hundredmembers. NACYML’s Leadership Team spent its first two years developing the organization’s structure and procedures. This year we actively worked on developing as a membership-driven organization. No longer is most of NACYML’s work being accomplished solely by the Leadership Team.

Following its annual meeting in March, the Leadership Team recruited members for each of the three NACYML coordinating committees. Two major projects of the committees during the past six months have been planning and implementing the NACYML booth at NCYC and developing a partnership with Ministry Training Source to offer online training and formation to our members. 

The NACYML Booth at NCYC was a great success. The project team worked diligently to develop a booth that was both professional and youth-friendly. Twenty-five new members joined NACYML at NCYC, and several members renewed their membership.
