Diverse Meeting Crowd Makes Region 7 Stronger
We were blessed to have 10 of our 16 diocesan directors at our regional gathering in October in Joliet, Illinois. We also were graced with the presence of four collaborating members, our Girl Scout/Camp Fire representative, our NACYML representative, and a potential collaborating member. Including our collaborating members and other guests gives us much more insight and strengthens our community. It truly has made us a better region.
We had great discussions on many areas of youth ministry, yummy food, a time for visioning, and liturgy. Adolescent catechesis was a strong topic of interest.
All of our diocesan leadership positions are filled. We welcome
Michelle Fischer-Mandry in Milwaukee, Ron Garcia in Madison, Kyle Holtgrave in Springfield, Illinois, and Sean Martin in Lafayette, Indiana. We will be well-represented at the upcoming membership meeting in Little Rock. Otherwise, things in the Midwest are going fine as we know it!
