Program Goals

As part of its mission to educate, train, and support diocesan leadership, the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry sponsors an annual institute for new diocesan directors of youth ministry. NDDI Programming includes introduction to national Catholic Church resources, training in management skills, insight into personal spiritual development, as well as ongoing visioning and planning.

This experience is designed for diocesan leades who have served in diocesan youth ministry for less than 3 years.

The 2013 event is tentatively scheduled for May 28-31, 2013 at Washington Retreat House next to Catholic University in Washington DC.

Registration

Deadline: Open to the first 25 participants registered before April 1. Space is limited and preference will be given to Diocesan Directors of Youth Ministry completing the online registration form by April 1.

Fees

Thanks to generous grants from St. Mary's Press and the Catholic Youth Foundation USA, all program expenses, including lodging and most meals, are covered for participants. Participants are responsible for their transportation to/from Washington, D.C., one dinner during the event plus any meals before or after the official start of the program. The $75 per person registration deposit, is refunded upon completion of the program. Deposits should be sent to:
